Rescue 3 International General Information

How to host a Rescue Training course in your area:
In addition to contacting Pacific Journeys for availability on our rescue courses, you can organize your own training course!
If you are unable to attend a training course that we offer and have a minimum of 10 participants, you should not hesitate to schedule a course specifically for your group!
All you need to do is contact Pacific Journeys and we will do our best to schedule a course for your group at a time that works best for you.

Practice and Recertification:
Upon completion of the Rescue 3 training course, students must practice and maintain their rescue skills. Operations and Technician level courses must be recertified every three years to keep up with new program developments and skills. Students recertifying are eligible for a 50% discount on the course.

Refusal of Service:
An instructor may refuse training to anyone if he or she feels participation in the course would present a safety, physical or financial risk to anyone in the course or to themselves.

Cancellation fee:
If Pacific Journeys cancels a Rescue 3 International or any First Aid course, a full refund of all class tuition fees that have been paid, will be returned within 1 month of the cancellation date.
A group that has selected to organize their own training course is responsible for filling the minimum participant requirement (10 people). Any group that fails to cancel more than a week prior to the first day of the course may be held responsible for any change fee incurred from the instructor’s airline/bus ticket and a cancellation fee of 10% of the total tuition cost.
An individual that cancels more than two weeks (10 working days) prior to the course will receive a full refund. If that individual cancels less than 2 weeks before the course……

Cancellation Policy:
30 days or more, prior to arrival: No penalties
3 weeks prior to arrival: 50% of package cost per person
2 weeks prior to arrival: 75% of package cost per person
1 week prior to arrival: Full package cost per person

Risks and Insurances:
Each person, upon arrival, will be responsible to fill out a Pacific Journeys liability form. This form must be signed in order to participate in our tours.

Large Groups:
To accommodate large groups, reservations and payments
should be made 1 month before the tour date.

Participant Numbers:
The minimum group size for Pacific Journey tours is 4 per tour. The minimum group size for each rescue class varies. A course will not happen if there are not enough participants, please call for availability.
